I was born in Japan and have always loved exploring what beauty is.
I began my career in the cosmetics industry during the early years of equal employment opportunity in Japan, working in a demanding professional environment. In 1999, I moved to the United States and later started my own import and wholesale business focused on beauty products.
After stepping away from business to focus on raising my family, I discovered a deep passion for fitness. Through this journey, I became more aware of the subtle exchange of energy between ourselves and the natural world.
This became a turning point in my life.
Over time,I found myself drawn to flowers that carry both beauty and living energy.

After gaining experience as a floral assistant in New York City, I launched Akiko’s Flowers during the pandemic, focusing on serving my local community.
Having experienced the fast pace of life myself, I came to realize how important it is to take a moment to pause.
Each arrangement is thoughtfully designed for your space, gift, or special event. Flowers carry a quiet energy that transforms everyday spaces - helping create unforgettable moments.
Through my flowers, I hope to offer people a moment to pause, reconnect with the living energy of nature, and feel a sense of peace.

In a world increasingly shaped by technology and AI, I believe our sensitivity to the living energy of nature can fade if we stop using it.
Through my flowers, I hope to encourage people to reconnect with nature and rediscover that subtle exchange of energy.
Take a moment to reconnect with the living energy of nature.
